I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: SecurityScorecard

Those of you who know me know that I started fundraising for St. Baldrick's 8 years ago, just months before I was diagnosed with advanced renal cell carcinoma, an incurable form of kidney cancer that, at the time, had a median survival of 8 months and a 5 year survival rate of 0%. I continued supporting St. Baldrick's as a shavee, fundraiser, and supporter ever since. 


Now here I am, 8 years later, still here, in a complete remission, and still pissed off at cancer, especially when it comes to kids. So I'm back shaving my head with St. Baldrick's to raise money and help conquer kids' cancers! 


Every 2 minutes a child is diagnosed with cancer worldwide, and 1 in 5 of those in the U. S. will not survive. I refuse to accept this reality, so I’ve decided to fundraise for lifesaving research to find cures and better treatments for kids. Now I need your support! Your donation can fund research to help kids survive and thrive. 


My first year I raised about $6,000. My best year was north of $40,000. This year my goal is a modest $25,000, and I need to get it done FAST - - I just signed up and the event is tomorrow.
