I helped to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Hope for Daisy

I helped to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Hope for Daisy

Friends and Family, Syri and I have joined Hope for Daisy’s team, again, this year to raise much need money for children’s cancer research.  As most of you know our sweet friend Daisy is now watching over us, from heaven.  We are heartbroken to have to do this event without her, but are more determined than ever to raise awareness of the desperate need for less toxic and more effective cancer treatments for children, like Daisy.

Here are some very sobering statistics regarding cancer in children:

- Worldwide, a child is diagnosed with cancer every 2 minutes.

- More children are lost to cancer in the US than any other disease.

- Since 1980, fewer than 10 drugs have been developed for use in children with cancer.

- Only 4% of federal government cancer research funding goes to children’s research.

Please help us reach our fundraising goal of $2,500 and support Daisy’s team.
