I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I'm shaving my head with St. Baldrick's to raise money and help conquer kids' cancers! Every 2 minutes a child is diagnosed with cancer worldwide, and 1 in 5 of those in the U.S. will not survive. I refuse to accept this reality, so I’ve decided to fundraise for lifesaving research to find cures and better treatments for kids.

Due to the recent situation surrounding the COVID-19 outbreak I have decided to shave at home. I am still connected with my event as the organization recommends as to keep the sense of community alive at this time. Thank you for your support and understanding!

I have always wanted to shave my head and this organization has always interested me, this is year I finally told myself that I would look into it. Although I have never had a loved one be diagnosed and treated for cancer in my life time (a few of my close family members have been treated and cured before I was born) I have close friends who have not been so fortunate. Seeing the pain cancer causes a family breaks my heart. Those who I have met who have been directly effected by cancer are some of the strongest people I know, and for these reasons I have decided to do my part and take control over this situation.

Now I need your support! Your donation can fund research to help kids survive and thrive. Join me today and let’s #DFYchildhoodCancers together.
