I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Hope for Daisy

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Hope for Daisy

A joke to catch your attention:

What’s invisible and smells like carrots?

...Bunny farts

This glorious joke comes from the beautifully bright star, Daisy Walsh. Wonderful, beautiful fate introduced me to Daisy and her amazing family in 2014 when she joined the Regis University Lacrosse team through Team Impact. Daisy passed away in late February, after a long long battle with cancer. She was and, even from afar, still is a model of strength, humor, energy, and (sorry to use this word again, but its so apt) beauty.

In her memory and to fight the destruction of childhood cancer, I am shaving my head and raising money for #StBaldricks (date and time, TBD).

If you giggle, cry, and/or smile when you think of Daisy, I encourage you to donate. If you just feel a sense of love after I described Daisy to you, then I also encourage you to donate.

P.S. Every 2 minutes a child is diagnosed with cancer worldwide, and 1 in 5 of those in the U.S. will not survive. I am fundraising in Daisy's memory, to support research to change this reality for future families.

Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
