My world has been touched so many times by cancer and I'm heart broken by the stats of childhood cancer. It seems like every time I turn around, cancer claims another friend or family member. So I am stepping out in faith. I have always been known for my hair. So much so that when I straighten my hair, people who have known me for years walk right by. I love my curly hair and am so thankful God gave it to me. But it shouldn't be my identity.
So with that being said...I'm shaving my head with St. Baldrick's to raise money and help conquer kids' cancers! Every 2 minutes a child is diagnosed with cancer worldwide, and 1 in 5 of those in the U. S. will not survive. I refuse to accept this reality, so I’ve decided to fundraise for lifesaving research to find cures and better treatments for kids. Now I need your support!
