I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Will's Warriors

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Will's Warriors

In March 2016, Will was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. A month or so after he started chemotherapy as he sat watching a movie in the living room the way a typical 4 year will do, as his Mom, I quietly stood, went to get a pair of scissors and cut the last few remaining hairs on his head. It is not something I sadly will ever forget. This year, March 16th, Will will get another haircut, but this time, by choice and in Will's words "to help other kids who still have a port in their chest and get needles in their back to help make them better." Will along with his amazing big brother Jack, will shave their heads in front of the whole school again to raise money for pediatric cancer research. Jack has been shaving his head and raising money for St. Baldrick's since March 2016, just a few weeks after Will was first diagnosed. This will be Jack's last St. Baldrick's assembly at his grade school before he goes off to Jr. High next year. Please help make it a huge year for Will and Jack along with their team, "Will's Warriors" by making a donation and sharing this page with as many people as you know or can! In the true spirit of election season, especially in Chicago, please give early and give often :) Standing with Will and Jack and shaving their heads to raise money for pediatric cancer research and support.
