I helped to raise money for childhood cancer research with: DFW SportClips

I believe we have all been touched in some way with cancer, it may be a family member, friend, co-worker, friend of a friend, or child we all have seen or felt the pain in our hearts that cancer causes, I am not a hero... The children that have to go through all the chemo and other things associated with cancer are the TRUE HEROES!! Hearing the stories every year I see how strong the kids, and their families are and I am honored and humbled to be a part of St Baldricks!

IF I HAD JUST 1/4 OF THE STRENGTH THESE CHILDREN HAD I WOULD BE LUCKY!! For the last 14 years I have been humbled with this event. On my 7th year of volunteering (2013), when I was Knighted into the Knights of the Bald Table,  I was a shavee. Now I am a Knight Commander and this will be my 14th year to be at this event. It would be wonderful if we could stop having these fundraisers, But until there is a cure for this horrible monster, we MUST continue to raise money for the fight!!   I have really grown a passion for St Baldricks and am happy to get more and more involved each year!!! This is an amazing event and charity and I am very humbled and honored to be a part part of it each year!!.

SO WHEN I ASK FOR YOUR SUPPORT, I AM REALLY ASKING FOR YOU TO SUPPORT THESE CHILDREN~
