I helped to raise money for childhood cancer research

Hi! My name is Bella Borla and two years ago I took part in volunteering and donating my hair to St. Baldricks at Schaumburg High School. I did this in honor of a family friend that was extremely kind, loving, spirited and touched the hearts of everyone around her. I did not know her all too well but my family, relatives, and her family and friends loved her dearly and were devastated by her passing. So, this year I want to do the same and cut and donate my hair in honor of her and everyone who is affected by cancer whether that’s family, friends, or the individual themselves. So it would truly be a blessing to get to my fundraising goal of 1,500 since two years ago I was able to raise around 1,400! Thank you so much for your consideration and truly any donation does make a huge difference.

Every 2 minutes a child is diagnosed with cancer worldwide, and 1 in 5 of those in the U.S. will not survive. I refuse to accept this reality, so I’ve decided to fundraise for lifesaving research to find cures and better treatments for kids.

Now I need your support! Your donation can fund research to help kids survive and thrive. Join me today and let’s #DFYchildhoodCancers together.
