I'm shaving my head to raise money for childhood cancer research! Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So I decided to do something about it by raising money for cures.

I have many family members & friends who I have lost, who have had or still have one or more forms of Cancer. All are sad, but by far, the saddest is when a child is diagnosed with Cancer.

These days, people don't like to let go of their hard earned money. Some, like myself, are on limited incomes and it is hard to let go of any of it. It is my hope, my prayer, that you can find something, anything, to help fight childhood Cancer.

I rarely ever, do things like this (unless it it to help my kids & grandkids school stuff), but for some reason I feel compelled to do something larger than my own fears for those other than myself.

I have signed up for a fundraising event with St. Baldrick's to help raise money to help fight the Cancers that are affecting our Nation's children...perhaps one of them are yours.

On March 21st, I will be joining thousands like myself and HAVING MY HEAD SHAVED!!! Those who know me, know how much my hair means to me; however, helping thousabds of children means more. I will post a picture of my new un-do afterwards but in the meantime, please go to my St. Baldricks page and donate anything you possibly can. Thank you so very much.❤

Now I need your help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.
