I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: MARCH MADNESS 3

I'm shaving my head with St. Baldrick's to raise money and help conquer kids' cancers! Every 2 minutes a child is diagnosed with cancer worldwide, and 1 in 5 of those in the U.S. will not survive. I refuse to accept this reality, so I’ve decided to fundraise for lifesaving research to find cures and better treatments for kids.

In July of 2019, I went to a dermatologist to have a suspicious mole on my arm checked out. My sister was sure it was melanoma. She was correct! What she didn't tell me was that she also suspected the same about a blotch on my face. Both were Melanoma in situ...stage one. A skilled surgeon excised both lesions and the melanoma was gone. I was lucky. Kristy Lynn Haley was not as lucky. She passed away from melanoma. I am shaving my head in memory of her and to honor melanoma patients Cassie B. and Kyle Lynn.

Now I need your support! Your donation can fund research to help kids survive and thrive. Join me today and let’s #DFYchildhoodCancers together.
