I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Knuckleheads

I'm shaving my head with St. Baldrick's to raise money and help conquer kids' cancers!

This year I will again honor the memory of my friend Joey Sudo who, after a brave fight, lost his battle with a rare childhood cancer. This past December Joey would have celebrated his 20th birthday. I am 18, in my senior year of high school, planning for prom. I have been accepted to the college of my choice and will pursue a career in a field that I love. Joey will never get the chance to do these things but with more research another boy or girl might just get the opportunity. This year I will shave my head for the 12th time. The number 12 sticks with me because Joey was 12 when he lost his battle in 2012. I am proud to be shaving my head again to raise money for childhood cancer research! Over those these years I have raised ~$36,000 with help from many of you, but it still isn’t enough. Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So, I decided when I was 6 to do something about it by raising money for cures.
Now I need your support! Your donation can fund research to help kids survive and thrive. Join me today and let’s #DFYchildhoodCancers together.
