5/11/2020 update.

Do to the pandemic situation impacting the world, we have to postpone the main event until the fall. Childhood cancer is not taking a break during this crisis and that makes our mission even more critical.

On Saturday, May 9th, 2020, I shaved in solidarity and safely at home. You can watch my 2020 shave from the link below.

Thank you for supporting childhood specific cancer research.

I'm shaving my head with St. Baldrick's to raise money and help conquer kids' cancers! Every 2 minutes a child is diagnosed with cancer worldwide, and 1 in 5 of those in the U.S. will not survive. I refuse to accept this reality, so I’ve decided to fundraise for lifesaving research to find cures and better treatments for kids.

Did you know that every two minutes, somewhere in the world a child is diagnosed with cancer? Or that by age 50, 99% of survivors will suffer long-term health effects from their treatment?

Your contribution will support the St. Baldrick’s Foundation, the largest private funder of childhood cancer research grants worldwide. Since 2005, St. Baldrick’s has funded more than $282 million in research grants to find cures for kids with cancer. This is all thanks to the generosity of donors like you!

In the 1950s, almost all kids diagnosed with cancer died. Because of research, today about 90% of kids with the most common type of cancer will live. But for many other types, progress has been limited, and for some kids there is still little hope for a cure.

By shaving my head, I am standing in solidarity with kids who typically lose their hair during treatment.

If you would like to make a donation, please click on the donate button on this page.

Every year, the Foundation selects five Ambassadors to represent the thousands of kids touched by childhood cancer from many different geographic areas, age groups, disease types and more. These brave kids serve as a reminder that childhood cancer doesn't discriminate and that one in five kids diagnosed in the U.S. will not survive.
