I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I’ve been growing my hair since MTMS’s last St. Baldrick’s event in 2017. Those of you who have seen me recently know my hair is about halfway down my back. I am going to continue to let it grow it until March 17. On March 17, I will be donating my hair in honor of the sweet angel in my profile picture. Ariel Caro passed away last year after a long battle with cancer. I was fortunate enough to get to know her through our homework club when she was in seventh grade. Never once did she complain about anything! I hope that you can donate to this incredibly important cause. Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So I decided to do something about it by raising money for cures. Now I need your help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.

We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
