I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

Cancer impacts everyone in some way. From family members to friends of a friend, we all know someone who has gone through or is currently going through cancer. Arguably one of the worst victims of cancer is children under the age of 20. It is believed that every year more than 250,000 new cases of childhood cancer is reported. And, while the resources are there to help them be better, there is so much more that is needed to find a cure and support those in need.

Whether or not we struggle with this disease in our everyday lives, we have the ability and choice to make a change. Childhood cancer is consistently unfunded, but we can choose to make a difference. Every dollar counts and is your commitment to stand with the children who deserve more. To stand with URI and the Student Organization Leadership Consultants to raise money and awareness on this terrible disease. To stand against cancer and demonstrate that you can and will make a change.

I have chosen to take a stand and brave the shave in order to make a change. Join me!
