I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

Hello Friends,

It's that time of year again where I will be shaving my head in an effort to raise money to support childhood cancer research. Over the past two years I've raised nearly $2,000 toward this cause and I would love for you all to help me reach my personal goal of $1,200!

I'll start with a little background to this event:

I first decided to shave my head two years ago because the importance of this fundraiser really hit home for me. As many of you know, I had the honor of having my little cousin, Rachel, come to the event and personally shave my head. She was seven at the time, and had been diagnosed with Neuroblastoma at the age of 5. Last year, she passed away on February 4th, less than two weeks before her 8th birthday. This is a cause that my family, myself, and so many others hold dear to their hearts. More than 15,000 children are diagnosed with cancer every year, and any donation can help change that statistic.

So, whatever donation you can make whether it's a dollar, 10 dollars, or 100 dollars, every donation goes to making a difference. Please, share this page with friends and family, spread the word, and come to the event! I want to thank everyone who takes the time to make a donation and/or share this page!
