I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

Thank you for your support! I'm shaving my head for my 9th year to raise money for childhood cancer research! Over 14 years ago, I got involved in this amazing charity but did not have the intestinal fortitude to shave my head. In October 2008, my mindset changed when I became a father myself. I am blessed to now have two heathy daughters, but I have met many young children, often now younger than my two daughters, who are not as lucky. A little over two years ago, my oldest asked if she could shave her head. She understood at 7 years old the impact this could have on other children. We found a charity called "Locks for Love" where she could donate her long brown hair. On the eve of her 8th birthday, 14" of hair was cut and donated to Locks for Love. I have never been so proud. As a matter of fact, she has worked hard to grow it out ever since to try it again this fall! Please help me in my quest to raise funds to help battle this horrific disease. Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So I decided to do something about it by raising money for cures. Now I need your help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers. Thank you for your consideration & donation!
