I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

May 5, 2019 • 1:00 pm - 5:30 pm

Event: ROCK the Bald at Finn’s Tap Room

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

Due to Covid, there are not many open events this year, so I will be having my head shaved on my own this time around.

In the past years I have attended way to many funerals for family members that have lost their life's to Cancer. So have signed up to raise money for St. Baldrick's. I had my head shaved 5 times now since 2012 being my first time, to raise money for St. Baldrick’s and I believe this will be my last time, of course I said that the last time also lol.

Let’s try to get a cure in the early stages of the people life's so they can grow up and enjoy life as it should be.

I have many people in my life who have passed away and survived this nasty disease, but have never known a child suffering from it. I feel we should do everything we can to help find a cure for everyone so hopefully these kids can grow up and experience life as a grown up, get married, have kids and etc..

I will be having my head shave on July 16th, 2021 at the corner of Castle St & Exchange St. downtown Geneva, NY at Creator's Touch Barber Shop

I can’t wait for the event! I’m having my head shaved again to stand in solidarity with kids being treated for cancer. But the real point of all this is to raise money for lifesaving research. You can support me with a donation for childhood cancer research Check out my webpage, and help by donating!

Generous donors like you make it possible for the St. Baldrick’s Foundation to continue funding the best research. As a volunteer-driven charity, St. Baldrick’s keeps fundraising costs low and grants high. In 2013 alone, St. Baldrick’s gave over $24.5 million to childhood cancer research– almost all raised by more than 58,000 “shavees” like me, from people like you!

4 years ago, I raise a total of $2640.00 I hope I can count your support to reach my fundraising goal of $500.00, it would be great if I can pass that mark, but due to how things have been the past year I thought I would lower my goal.

Please visit my page on the St. Baldrick’s website to make a donation: https://www.stbaldricks.org/participants/mypage/1019493/2019 or to give by phone (888-899-BALD). Credit cards are the most efficient way to give, or you can write a check payable to “St. Baldrick’s Foundation.”

Please make a donation on my head and come watch me “Rock the Bald” to Conquer Childhood Cancers!

Thank you for your support.
