Hi my name is Landon. This is my fourth year shaving my head, and participating in St. Baldricks. I started shaving my head when I was just four years old. A friend of mine in my preschool class was diagnosed with a childhood cancer and I wanted to do my part in helping him any way I could. Luckily my friend is now in remission, but this is not the case for all children. Here is why I am shaving my head to raise money for childhood cancer research! Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So I decided to do something about it by raising money for cures.
Now I need your help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.
Be it known to all that this participant has dedicated at least three years of service to the St. Baldrick’s Foundation helping kids with cancer throughout all the land.
