I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Team Brent

"Yes it is true " I have decided to "Shave the Way to Cure" just one more time. I had not planned to get shaved this year, but this will be the last event for Team Brent – the Team I have always shaved with. It is possible it will also be my last event. Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. I decided to do something about it by raising money for cures. In North America, more children die of childhood cancer than any other disease. Cancer is a brutal opponent and this is the very least I can do to promote my strong belief, that NO ONE; especially a child should have to endure its wrath. Over the years many friends and family have battled cancer - some continue the battle - while others, including my Dad, were taken by this vicious disease. Children typically lose their hair during treatment - while I take it all off by choice for them. My hair will grow back. Some of these children won't ever have a chance for theirs to grow back. It feels like the right thing to do. Please support me by making a donation to fund childhood cancer research so that children diagnosed with cancer improve their chance for a cure. It’s easy - Just click "DONATE" or follow instructions to donate by phone or mail. I appreciate any support you can give!! Wendy
