Hi! I am 14 years old and I've decided to shave my head for childhood cancer! After seeing someone very close to me suffering from childhood cancer, this cause is very close to my heart.
When I was introduced to St. Baldrick’s Foundation, I decided that I wanted to make a difference in my community, and give my hair to kids who need it, as well as give money to St. Baldrick's so they can help young kids fighting for their lives. No one should have to be told “you have cancer”. Cancer is a worldwide issue that we have to fight to change. In 2015, the National Cancer Insitiute had a budget of $4.93 billion to put towards cancer reasearch. It’s anticipated that childhood cancer received 4% of those funds. This is why WE need to work together and raise the funds to help fight childhood cancer. Whether you’re sharing this page or donating to my fundraising attempts, your contribution is making an impact on the lives of kids with childhood cancer. Whether you decide to donate $1 or $100, you'll be making a positive impact on the world. Thank you so much for your support!
