I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Team MJK/Joey

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Team MJK/Joey

I have been doing his for 13 years now and it gets better every year. The St Baldrick’s Foundation evolved from an idea that folks just might donate good money to see someone shave their head. Well, this March, I am that someone, To be honest, all I do is drink beer and have my head shaved, so I’m not really doing any work. No physical effort at all, I just need to watch out for hair in my beer, so it’s well within my skillset. It is pretty simple, but I have raised over $10,000 for childhood cancer research over the years and it feels great to do something that actually helps to find a cure. That said, I would do this by myself and just for the smiles on the faces of the kids when they see loved ones and strangers shaving their heads in a show of support for their struggles against cancer. I have had my freshly shaved head rubbed by a smiling kid who was fighting cancer and knew that I was on their side, I will never come back from that. I appreciate the support and will buy you a beer if you come by to support the cause. If you can't make it by, I will drink one for you. Thanks! -Steve
