I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Team AMS Beats OMS

Some of you may know this about me already, but if not, I’m a huge fan of kids. I’m blessed with 3 beautiful daughters of my own, I have lots of nieces & nephews, I work in a school community loaded with kids, and thru coaching for almost 20 years, I’ve been fortunate to have touched the lives of lots & lots of kids. So when I hear of a sick child, I pause & give thanks for the healthy kids in my life. And when I hear of a sick child I know personally, I want to do anything I can to help & get involved. This year, I’ll proudly be shaving my head in support of my lil friend Avery who is battling a very rare disease called OMS. Her mom & dad prove to us what unconditional love really looks like. They use the thoughts & prayers we smother them with daily and turn it into strength & courage to continue to fight for their lil girl. Give thanks for the healthy kids in your lives and please consider making a donation for kids like Avery who are fighting everyday to get a lil stronger & a lil healthier. If you’re unable to make a monetary donation, I understand, but just ask that you continue to keep Avery & all children fighting pediatric cancer in your thoughts & prayers. #Averystrong
