I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research
This is my 11th year shaving my head with St. Baldrick’s in support of those fighting childhood cancer. This year I hope to raise $1000, adding to my 10 year total of over $11,000. I do this most especially in the memory of his cousin Katie Lynch. I also shave in honor of my cousin Hunter Burks and friends Shane Moylan and Catherine Nester all of whom are childhood cancer survivors. I honor my Nana Brown who is a cancer survivor. And in the memory of my grandparents, Bud and GG as well as my uncle Joe Brunk who passed from cancer. After I do it people will ask why I am bald. And that opens the conversation for me to talk about childhood cancer to others. I am hopeful for the day there isn’t a need to talk about childhood cancer. Thank you for supporting these efforts.
Be it known to all that this participant has dedicated at least ten years of service to the St. Baldrick’s Foundation helping kids with cancer throughout all the land.
St. Baldrick’s Honored Kids
Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
