I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

On February 27th Basalt High School hosted a St. Baldrick's Foundation Head Shaving Event to raise money for childhood cancer research. This event was held in honor of B.H.S. Junior Anna Cunningham who has since lost her fight against Ewing Sarcoma.

St. Baldrick's Foundation is a volunteer-powered charity that funds childhood cancer research grants. Our original goal was to raise $10,000 so that all of the money raised could be used specifically for Ewing Sarcoma research. Needless to say, we have far exceeded our original goal with nearly $80,000 raised up to this point.

This fundraiser will continue throughout the year and we would love to see the total climb higher than $80,000. Please consider joining our cause in remembrance of Anna's vibrant soul.

We love you so much Anna.
