I helped to raise money for childhood cancer research

I helped to raise money for childhood cancer research

Imagine a world free from childhood cancer? Sounds pretty wonderful, doesn't it? You can help by making a donation, small or large, because every dollar makes a difference.

Many years ago I lost my 12 year old cousin to a brain tumor. Nearly 9 years ago, my dad died from a rare side effect of one of the chemo drugs treating his Hodgkin's Lymphoma. Not very long after that, I lost my aunt to leukemia. 3 years ago, my mom was diagnosed with breast cancer. I'm happy to say, she is doing just fine.

Most recently, I lost a special friend to childhood leukemia so I'm doing this for him and his mom.  I'm doing this for all the kids, teens and families who have been touched by this insidious disease, in one way or another.  I'm doing this in memory of family that I love and miss every day. Most importantly, I'm doing this because a world free from cancer, childhood or adult, is a world filled with more joy, more laughter and more love.
