I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

As many of you know, this has become a cause that is near to our hearts. Our dear friend and neighbor, Leah, was diagnosed with an aggressive form of brain cancer in December of 2011. Leah went through her treatments with such grace and bravery. She never stopped smiling and refused to let her cancer define her. She is the most amazing child that we have ever met. She inspired all of us to be better people and to live life to its fullest. Leah received her angel wings this past December of 2012. This has left an ache in so many of our hearts. We think about her all the time and miss her dearly. This is why Mike has decided to participate in St Baldricks by shaving his head. Please consider donating to this worthy cause, in hopes that we can help them find a cure for pediatric cancer and in honor of Leah.
Thank you so much for your consideration,
Mike and Melissa

I've answered the call to be a hero! I'm having my head shaved to stand in solidarity with kids fighting cancer, but more importantly, to raise money to find cures.

Please support me with a donation to the St. Baldrick's Foundation. This volunteer-driven charity funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government.

Your gift will give hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers. So when I ask for your support, I'm really asking you to support these kids. Thank you!
