I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I've donated my hair for years, ever since a childhood friend battled cancer when we were only 11 years old. Over the years, my hair grew and changed as I did, and it became harder to donate it. But I still want to continue supporting cancer survivors, so this year I'm shaving my head with St. Baldrick's to raise money and help conquer kids' cancers! Yep, that’s right!

Update 3/11/21: My 5-year-old son, Nick, has decided that he is not as interested in watching me shave my hair, as he would be with joining me and shaving our heads together. This sweetie pie even offered to donate his piggybank money because he thought he had to pay to shave his head with me as part of the fundraiser! (He said, “I just won’t buy the candy that I had wanted. I want to help the kids.”) He thought that everyone who donated is shaving his or her heads too! I love this kid. I explained, and instead my husband and I are adding to the fundraiser to support Nick’s participation.

ALL DONATIONS MOVING FORWARD WILL GO IN SUPPORT OF NICK'S PARTICIPATION.

WE need your support! Your donation can fund research to help kids survive and thrive.
