What could be more important than saving the life of a child?
I have been doing events with St Baldrick’s Foundation since 2006 so this is not my first event and have been involved as a volunteer; as an event organizer
and have shaved my head on many occasions. I will not be shaving at the Oswego event but supporting the event as they strive to reach the million dollar goal.
This is a cause that I believe in and hope that one day the events are no longer needed but until that happens I will hopefully be able to make a difference.
Kids with cancer need our support now more than ever. St. Baldrick’s is the largest non-government funder of childhood cancer research grants, and the pandemic has slashed donations, slowing down the progress to find cures.
During the pandemic, donations have been down sharply, which is a big deal since the St. Baldrick’s Foundation is the largest non-government supporter of childhood cancer research grants.
Cancer kills more of our kids than any other disease. Research can change that, and I don’t want to let these kids down. Can you help?
Thank you so much for those that have donated this year and in the past as well as participated in any activity.
