I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I benefited a lot from cancer research last summer when I was diagnosed with breast cancer. That experience opened my eyes to how important cancer research is, and how expensive it is. One of the tests I had cost $4000. Thank God I have good insurance! I am truly lucky in other ways: my cancer was caught early, and I am okay now. I now want to pay it forward. On March 17, I am having my head shaved to benefit St. Baldricks Childhood Cancer Research. My goal is to raise $4000, the cost of that one test. That money will help a child with cancer have a better life, or simply stay alive. Please help me reach that goal. Can you spare $20? A hundred dollars? Please click on the link; it only takes a couple minutes. And it is tax deductible. Thank you so much, Lisa Van Buskirk PS For the record, I have never had a burning desire to be bald, and I know it is not going to be pretty. I am grateful that I can do it by choice.
