I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research
For the last 2 years, I have been growing out my hair with the ultimate goal of raising money to help fight cancer. From family members to friends, cancer has affected people I love. My journey became all too real when one of my co-workers was diagnosed with cancer. Because of this and for others who have also been affected, I plan not only to raise $1000 but shave my head and donate the hair to an organization that provides free wigs for cancer patients. I hope you will join in supporting me either with a donation or by cheering me on as I go bald!
Be it known to all that this participant has dedicated at least three years of service to the St. Baldrick’s Foundation helping kids with cancer throughout all the land.
