I helped to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Dottie's B.R.A.T. s

I am participating in St. Baldrick's Day as a volunteer for the second year in the row. Last year I participated in honor of my grandmother who was currently battling brain cancer. Unfortunately, I lost my grandmother shortly after the St. Baldrick's day event took place. Now after seeing first hand how ugly of a disease cancer really is and after finding out several more close friends of mine have been diagnosed with it I am more determined than ever to help fight for a cure. It was heartbreaking watching my grandmother become more and more ill with this disease and I can't imagine what it would be like for a child to go through a majority of his or her life like this. Cancer is a cruel, evil disease that no child or adult should have to face. If we all do our share to help raise money for research efforts we will be one step closer to finding a cure and saying goodbye to this evil little disease.
