Most of you already know our daughter, Violet's story. Diagnosed in October 2018 with High Grade Astrocytoma brain cancer, she was the bravest person I've ever known. She taught us how to let our lights shine even in the darkest of situations. She left this world and was healed in the most complete way possible in August 2019. There are entirely too many families affected by this terrible disease - every week it seems we hear of another child local to us diagnosed with cancer. I don't know how to fix it, but I feel like this one step in the right direction. We were showered with so much generosity while Violet was sick, I hope this pays that generosity forward in some small way. Will you please join me in supporting these families?
I'm shaving my head with St. Baldrick's to raise money and help conquer kids' cancers! Every 2 minutes a child is diagnosed with cancer worldwide, and 1 in 5 of those in the U.S. will not survive. I refuse to accept this reality, so I’ve decided to fundraise for lifesaving research to find cures and better treatments for kids.
Now I need your support! Your donation can fund research to help kids survive and thrive. Join me today and let’s #DFYchildhoodCancers together.
