I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

It is an honor and a privilege to be able to be involved with such a fantastic program.  I will be shaving my head in March not only to raise funds for St. Baldrick's directly but to hopefully begin a conversation with those around me about the impact and importance of childhood cancers and related research. I volunteer in the oncology department at the Colorado State University Veterinary Teaching Hospital.  Working there has given me a wealth of knowledge and caused me to think more about cancer and the way it changes lives. I hope to enter this profession and be a part of the active research community that is changing the lives of people and animals afflicted with cancer.  Participating in a St. Badlrick's event is just one step, but I am thankful to be part of this journey!
