I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

Hello again!!! Thank you for taking that first step and visiting the website to become involved in this amazing organization and their truly inspirational efforts. This will be my second year to participate in this wonderful event, and I plan on many more years to come. You may ask, "Why shave your head?" Well, we do it in solidarity of children with cancer who lose ALL of their bodily hair while undergoing treatment...not to mention what they endure every day to fight for their lives. Every day countless children (and adults) are diagnosed with some form of cancer... and then have to endure painful, uncomfortable and sometimes life threatening treatments. This is one way to show them how much we care in hopes that one day, a cure will be found. I believe this will happen...with research and time...but research costs money. Please help in funding this cause. This year, I am participating in memory of Cole Frieden. Cole was 6 years old when he lost his fight with a cancerous brain/spinal tumor. He is truly an angel and will forever be remembered in the hearts of everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him. I hope you will take a few minutes to sponsor me - no amount is too small. It will make your heart smile...and it's tax deductible:) Thank you for your time and consideration. Together, we can make a difference... Kacey
