My Story

Cole Frieden was diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor (Medulloblastoma) in early December 2009. --- This is a letter from his Aunt Kristi. July 14, 2010 Hello Everyone, I am writing all of you today to let you know that Cole Landen Frieden passed away yesterday evening, July 13, 2010 at 7:35pm. While we are all saddened by Cole's passing, we take solace that he is an Angel of God, in a better place and finally truly at peace. Cole put up a very brave and courageous fight, one that I don't know if I could do. He granted all of us many blessings while here on the earth and helped many of us discover life through his illness and passing. As a few of my family members made it back to my mom's house last night, we sat on the back porch thinking of Cole. I looked up and there was the brightest star in the sky I have ever seen. I'm positive that it was Cole sitting on that star. I could just see him with his little legs crossed with that sweet smile letting us know he was safe and sound in Heaven. Our family will forever have an empty void, but I know that because of all of your prayers, messages, support and love, our family will have help filling some of that empty space. My family and I are eternally grateful to each and everyone of you that have supported us through this difficult time. We ask for your continued love, support and prayers. Cole...Words can not express the heartache I feel for losing you. I know that my love for you is stronger than your death and you will always be here with us because of my love, your mother's love, your families love and your friends love. You were an amazing little boy with the sweetest face, bravest heart and loving soul that fought for justice and integrity. God only picks the very best, that is why he has chosen you. Run, play, dance, sing, and FLY do all the things you were unable to do on this earth. We will forever love you and miss you. My Love Always, Aunt Kristi www.livestrongcole.org www.tinysparrowfoundation.org/?p=247
