I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: RI Ra Staff

IF YOU READ NO OTHER PART OF THIS MESSAGE, READ ME: My goal is $500 and I'm well on my way there, but if I raise $2000 by March 10th, I will keep my beard. With a bald head. For those of you having trouble visualizing this, that's because it will look very, very silly and unattractive. So make a donation now. Help the children. And make me look like a doofus. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hey Everybody, Julian Stern here and I'm joined by my beautiful head of hair... but not for long. As of March 10th, 2011, I- along with many of my co-workers at RiRa Irish Pub- will be completely bald as we're shaving our heads to show solidarity with children fighting cancer. Additionally, we are raising money to go towards research to help find a cure. The St. Baldrick's Foundation is a volunteer-driven charity that funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government. Your gift will give hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers. Click "Make a donation" to give online, or donate by phone or mail. Thanks! Julian

St. Baldrick’s Honored Kids

Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
