I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Alpha Delta Pi

Hey Everyone! As you already know I will be shaving my head on March 21st to stand in solidarity with kids fighting cancer and raising money to fund childhood cancer research. In addition, the over 24 inches of hair currently on my head will be sent to Locks of Love! This is something that I am truly passionate about. One day in the future I am going to be a doctor and it is my hope to do pediatric surgery or pediatric oncology, I want to save children's lives. Until then, I want to help in any other way that I can and this is a cause that truly touches my heart. In my own hometown, on my own street, there was a little girl who had a very unusual, life threatening brain tumor and her life was saved by a doctor willing to perform a very complicated and very risky surgery. It is children like her, and families like the one from my own hometown that benefit from programs like St. Baldrick's. No child and no parent should have to suffer and I want to do everything in my power to make sure that I can help in any way possible. Every dollar counts, so even if it's only one dollar that you have to spare, I ask that you do it here.

I've answered the call to be a hero! I'm having my head shaved to stand in solidarity with kids fighting cancer, but more importantly, to raise money to find cures.

Please support me with a donation to the St. Baldrick's Foundation. This volunteer-driven charity funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government.

Your gift will give hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers. So when I ask for your support, I'm really asking you to support these kids. Thank you!
