I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: The Bald Knights

If there's one thing that I was insecure about throughout my awkward middle school days all the way through high school: it was definitely my hair. Three years into college, I realize that it isn't such a big deal to me anymore, but for some of our youth, they don't even have hair to be insecure about In fact, over 300,000 kids in the U.S. are diagnosed with cancer every year. Now that is a big deal.

On November 14th, 2016, I will be shaving my head to not only raise money to support the best fundraising efforts for childhood cancer, but to also honor all of the children who have to overcome these large obstacles during their youth. Their is not much funding going into childhood cancer, but St. Baldrick's Foundation is one of the main players who actually allocates their funds in ways that promote research. My goal is to raise $2,000 for this cause: are you ready to join me?
