YEP I am really doing it. I'm having my head shaved. Sure, there are other ways to raise money for a good cause. I could do a walk or jump rope or marathon, anything but shave my head. Those things are all great, but not what I am looking to accomplish. I really want to have a small part of what these kids go through. I can't feel their pain or misery or sit in a chair and do hours of chemo. I am not going through the pain the family feels watching their loved one go back and forth to the hospital not knowing what the outcome will be. I can, however, experience what it is like to walk in their shoes with little to no hair. The only difference is, they lost theirs and I shaved mine off. I know mine will grow back while they don't know what tomorrow brings. But more importantly, I want to help raise money to find cures. Please support me with a donation to the St. Baldrick's Foundation. This volunteer-driven charity funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U. S. government. Your gift will give hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers. So when I ask for your support, I'm really asking you to support these kids. Thank you! Say a little prayer for Adler Shelbourne. Here is a little of his story.....I was having headaches recently that became more severe, causing nausea and vomiting so mommy took me to the ER at St. Margaret's in Dyer, Indiana on December 21, 2011. The ER Doctor sent me for a CT and found a mass on my brain. At that point a transport team was sent from Lafayette to take me, mommy, and daddy to Riley Hospital for Children in Indianapolis. They assessed me and performed emergency surgery in the early hours of December 22. 2011. I have to have chemo treatments for the next 6 months. Please pray for me and my recovery and my mom, Stephanie Shelbourne and dad, Jason Shelbourne as well as my baby brother, Camden.
Pray for Cash Hyde from Missoula, Montana and Tank Johnson
