I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research
As I am reaching the end of my high school career I have decided to give my remaining few months as a senior a purpose. I first questioned participating in this event six years ago as I watched someone very close to me lose their hair while battling cancer. Now that I have grown to accept and love myself after battling my own struggles, I have gathered the courage to "brave the shave" and help the victims of childhood cancer battle for their lives. I hope that drawing attention to this severely underfunded research will help bring us closer to a cure because no child should have to endure that pain. Help me support the infants, teens, and young adults across the nation by donating to support the cause today.
