Twelve years ago, my little sister was diagnosed with ependymoma, a cancer of the brain. She was only 6 years old. Now she is living a strong, healthy life. This year, I once again plan to shave my head for my sister and for all the children affected by cancer. With St. Baldrick's Foundation, I commit myself to helping fund childhood cancer research. Kids can't fight this alone and we can all make a change.
Last year, I raised over $500 for childhood cancer research. Researchers developed a new drug that year, and we all made a change. This year, my goal is $1,000. Help me reach my goal!
On April 5th, I'm shaving my head for the last time at USF with XYZ to raise money for childhood cancer research. Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So I decided to do something about it by raising money for cures. Now I need your help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.
