My Mom lost her best friend to leukemia when she was only 8 years old. This is something that changed her world and the world of all of those that loved Tammy with her. My Mom has shared that story with me for years and has touched me deeply. Did you know that every 2 minutes a child is diagnosed with cancer worldwide, and 1 in 5 of those in the U. S. will not survive? I have been refusing to accept this reality, so to work to make a difference, I’ve decided to fundraise by asking for pledges as I brave the shave and go bald in solidarity for those who are in the real fight for their lives. The funds go to St. Baldrick's Foundation for lifesaving research to find cures and better treatments for kids. Now I need your support! This is my 8th year braving the shave and I am hoping to make it my biggest year yet in fundrasing. Your donation can fund research to help kids survive and thrive. Join me today and let's #DFYchildhoodCancers together.
Be it known to all that this participant has dedicated at least seven years of service to the St. Baldrick’s Foundation helping kids with cancer throughout all the land.
St. Baldrick’s Honored Kids
Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
St. Baldrick’s started as a grassroots effort 25 years ago, driven by people who believe in helping kids with cancer.
