I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

My grandfather was a barber and always used to threaten to give me a crew cut when I was a kid. Nothing scared me more than the thought of a crew cut; I was vain about my hair even then! But I heard about St. Baldrick's a few years ago and I know at least two friends who have shaved their head for this charity before - Jason Boland and Steve Ostendorff. It seemed like a great way to raise money for a good cause and so I convinced myself to do it this year. Please check out this organization to learn more about its mission, then make a donation on my fund-raising page to support childhood cancer research. As an added incentive, the person who makes the largest donation can actually shave my head when the big day comes!* To make a donation, click on "Make A Donation" or donate by mail or phone. It's actually very easy to do and you'll feel good about yourself for spending money on something to benefit people who really need it. *This is not true at all. If I wouldn't let a trained barber like my grandfather shave my head, why would I let you? Make a donation anyway!
