I'm already bald-ish. So shaving my head for St. Baldrick's is more like a free haircut. It's not committing to something to show solidarity with the children that are diagnosed with an illness they never asked for and no one ever deserves before they even had a chance to live a full life. So instead, I'm going to commit my time. Well, and the little amount of hairs I have.
I will commit a minute for every dollar I raise to volunteer at Brent's Place, a local organization offering a home away from home to help families of children with cancer.
https://www.brentsplace.org/
$1000 = 1000 minutes = 16.67 hours (I'll round up)
However, that's not enough.
If I hit my goal of $1000 by April 24th, I will also razor shave my head and beard, in addition to the volunteer hours.
Straight skin bald.
Still not convinced?
If I double my goal, I will shave my head, my beard and MY EYEBROWS! In addition to the volunteer hours.
If you feel like that's still not enough, and your pockets are deep, $3000 will get you a bald face and beard, a minute per dollar and I will shave only ONE EYEBROW*. That's gonna be weird.
Whadaya say? Wanna see me get really aerodynamic and help some kids in need?
*one eyebrow shaving will last for 2 full days, then off they both go.

Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So I decided to do something about it by raising money for cures.
Now I need your help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.
