I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

Every day children and young adults are diagnosed with cancer. You probably knew that, but did you realize how these children and their families are affected? In that moment of diagnosis, their lives are changed forever. In my opinion, this is not fair. What right do I have to be living a healthy life while others are in a hospital? What right do I have to have hair that, in all honesty, I don't always appreciate? Children with cancer inspire me. I see them fighting and see smiles on their faces. It makes you appreciate and be happy with your life. If they can have a smile on their faces so can we. I believe God has a reason for these kids and their testimonies. I can't tell you the reason , but I can tell you that they make a difference. Each one of those kids makes a difference in someone's life. God created them to make that difference and spread those smiles during the hardest times. They are heroes to me ; let´s be heroes to them. Many people do not know that kids´cancers differ from adult cancers; this leaves childhood cancers underfunded. I decided to do something about this and make a difference in not only the lives of others but my own. On March 13, 2016 I will be shaving my head to raise money for childhood cancer research. I need your help! When you make a donation, you make a difference in the lives of infants, children, teens, and young adults as well as your own. Why not donate? Every dollar counts. Let´s make a difference together!
