I am shaving to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Hughey’s Heroes

Why am I shaving my head?

I just lost my grandpa to lung cancer in January. He was a childhood cancer survivor.

My grandpa, Jeffrey Ryan, was diagnosed with leukemia when he was a teenager in 1981. Because of treatment he was told he may never have kids. But he eventually had my mommy, who eventually had me. I was his first grandson.

Two years ago, I sat right next to him at shave for the brave, and shaved my head for the first time when I was only 3 years old. My grandpa had been shaving his head with St. Baldricks in Las Vegas for more than 15 years.

I know if he was still here today, he would be shaving his head to support a cause that was near and dear to his heart. I’m happy to be doing this for him and for kids who are fighting just like he did.

Your gift will give kids and their families hope. Together, let's give them the lifetime they deserve. Thank you for your support!
