In sixth grade, I donated my 3 feet long hair to help children who have lost their hair. Since then, I have advocated for hair donation. I have been growing my hair out since I watched Shave for the Brave take place at my school two years ago so that I would one day be able to donate a bunch of hair and participate. Due to COVID, I decided to participate in a virtual shave incase we don’t hold the event at school this winter. I am excited to be raising money for such a great cause, as well as donating my hair again.
I'm shaving my head with St. Baldrick's to raise money and help conquer kids' cancers! Every 2 minutes a child is diagnosed with cancer worldwide, and 1 in 5 of those in the U.S. will not survive. I refuse to accept this reality, so I’ve decided to fundraise for lifesaving research to find cures and better treatments for kids.
Now I need your support! Your donation can fund research to help kids survive and thrive. Join me today and let’s #DFYchildhoodCancers together.
