Let’s do this for the kids!
When I went in for a routine screening for colon cancer in April, 2018, I had no idea that my life was about to suddenly change. It was my second screening in 7 years and it seemed, at the time, that I was doing all the right things: periodic check-ups, a good diet and regular exercise. Two surgeries later and a heighten sense of mortality, I am fortunate to report that I am cancer free at this time.
My experience over this last year has made me acutely aware of the children who are diagnosed and who are undergoing treatment themselves. These children, and the parents of these children, need our support more than ever. This is reason why I decided to get involved.
I have selected Connor, who lives in our working community, to honor and support in this fundraising effort. Please help in this noble effort to fund research to improve the outcome of such a diagnosis. Your support will literally save the lives of children.
Thank you for taking the time to read this, and thank you for supporting this great cause, Kevin
