I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Hose out Cancer

My family and I have lost many children and adults in our lifetime to cancer, we still have those who are  fighting and others who have beat it!!! It’s our 8th year, and I’ve decided to honor everyone close to me that’s been effected by it, shave my head and raise funds for childhood cancer research. If I miss anyone, please message me, I will update it! I’m going off memory!!! I’m over 40, it’s not great!!!!

My first encounter with childhood cancer was Sebastian Ozment. He passed in 2007 at only 5 years old from a Pontine Glioma, which still has no cure.

Dan Salus-Adult lost to cancer

Matt Markovich- adult (I promised him I would never call him a kid) lost to cancer, who also shaved my sons head.

Paxton Elkins- child lost to cancer

Carmen Arvia (my dad)- fought cancer

George Basil - adult lost to cancer

Bill Habel - adult lost to cancer

Sandy Brozowski - adult fighting cancer

Pat Popa - adult - in remission!!!

Paula Poer - adult - in remission!!!

Sheila Bartlett - adult - in remission!!!

Amy Peters - adult - in remission!!!

Brian Gambino - adult fighting cancer

Larry Hott - adult fighting cancer

Gary McKinney - adult fighting and fighting it for years!!!

Batman from Highland Johnston school-still fighting!

I'm shaving my head to raise money for childhood cancer research! Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So I decided to do something about it by raising money for cures.

Now I need your help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.
