Many have asked...Why do I do this? My personal fight with cancer started at age two when my mother was diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer. She died when I was four years old. Along the way my grandmother had colon cancer. My sister has Breast Cancer and Colon cancer. She won that battle but was later diagnosed with Liver and Pancreatic Cancer and is now sadly in the final 6 months of her life. I have a great picture of my wife with two of her very close friends, Monica & Aimee. The three women have enormous bellies and smiles to match. They were around 8 months pregnant with all three babies born within six weeks of each other. First, Monica had a wonderful, healthy girl, Shannon. Then came our Robbie, my beautiful, healthy boy. A month later came Aimee's amazing son, Jackson. At first Jackson, seemed healthy but within months he was diagnosed with Leukemia. Jackson fought valiantly, but unfortunately spent most of his life in the hospital. Just after his second birthday, his tiny little body finally gave out but his gorgeous smile and spirit have lived with us every day since. Only God knows why it was Jackson who was chosen and not Robbie. It still sits with me.... I won the lottery. Luck was on our side - this time. So often we forget our blessings until we sit down and really reflect on them. So I'm asking you to make a donation. I'll take $5, $10, whatever. It is all going to help kids with cancer...and that's good enough for me! Thank you!!
